We’ve been in the charter business for over 30 years!! Southport Charter Service is recognized as one of the leaders in the charter industry.  We provide you more than just a great fishing trip, we help you make memories that last a life time.  When you book a trip with Southport you will be fishing with a captain that makes a living as a professional not someone that does this as a hobby.  Being the longest running charter service in southeast Wisconsin speaks for its self.

We operate two boats the “PHOENIX” and the “Coastal Express”. Our boats are equipped with state of the art electronics, Shimano rods and reels and Cannon downriggers and accessories. Both boats are fully insured and inspected annually by the United States Coast Guard for safety equipment.  The fishing season runs from mid-April through October. We have daily five-hour trip but additional time can be arranged.  Whether you are beginner or a veteran angler Southport can make your trip a great one.

ARNIE ARREDONDO
Born and raised in the Kenosha area Arnie was lucky enough to be growing up as the salmon fishery was beginning. Arnie started out fishing with his father on a 18 foot wooden boat. In the early days most of the fishing equipment was homemade or adapted from bass fishing to now using state of the art electronics and very specialized equipment designed for Great Lakes fishing. Throughout the years Arnie has won several tournaments from the late 80’s to present day. Being a competitive fisherman keeps Arnie on the cutting edge of the ever evolving lake dynamic. You may catch Arnie at one of his seminars or on the dock where he is always willing to “talk fishing”. A simple search of Arnie’s name will be all the proof you need to know you are fishing with a true professional. Arnie’s passion for Lake Michigan and knowledge of the area is what drives the success you will experience once aboard the “PHOENIX”.

Since joining Southport Charter Service Captain Nick has become one of the top captains in our region. Captain Nick prides himself in the quality of the experience he provides but above all the safety of his passengers. Once aboard the Coastal Express it becomes obvious he has a great work ethic. His competitive edge, attention to detail and passion for fishing is what makes Nick a great charter captain.
